THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
We believe that honesty is the best policy, so here are a few things you should know right from the start. Read the following sections to find out important information about repairs, custom orders, returns, and shipping policies. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!
Repairs
Free, written estimates are available for all repairs. Please call 570-560-5592 to set up an appointment to visit the shop, or to discuss shipping details before sending your instrument. The customer will be responsible to pay return shipping, whether or not any repairs were performed. Payment for repairs will be due at the time of pickup or before return shipment. Instruments not picked up within 120 days of repairs being completed will become property of Bashore Lutherie unless other arrangements have been made. Likewise, instruments not picked up within 120 days of declining a repair will become property of Bashore Lutherie.
Custom Orders
For all custom order inquiries, please contact Eric at 570-560-5592, or eric@eblutherie.com Custom ordered instruments require a 30% nonrefundable down payment at the start of construction. Balance is due upon completion.
Returns
Returns for unopened, new condition merchandise will be accepted in person or by mail. Custom orders are nonrefundable. Shipping, tax, or other charges will not be refunded on any returns. Please call 570-560-5592 before making a return.
Shipping
Shipments made to the lower 48 states are subject to a $2.99 flat rate shipping charge, unless otherwise noted. Purchase totals over $25 will be shipped free. Certain large, heavy, or high value items will incur an additional charge which will be clearly marked on the item page. Small items will be shipped via USPS and may not include tracking information. I will make every effort to ship your purchase as soon as possible, but please note that this is a one man shop so things like emergencies, illness, toddlers, etc. may delay your shipment.
A note about Instruments: A shipping quote for return shipment on instruments will be provided with your repair estimate. All instruments are shipped with insurance so the price can vary greatly dependent on value of the instrument.
